VERY cool magic shows coming up

There are some top rate performers coming to Austin next week as part of the Texas Association of Magicians Convention. All of the convention attendees are going, but there are still seats left available to the public! Visit the TAOM web site to get tickets.

We Teach After School Classes

If you represent a school or it's PTA, and are interested in having Magic Camp teach beginning or advanced magic lessons at your school, contact Aaron at (512) 850-4677. Our beginning magic curriculum has been carefully developed for almost 30 years and is the same curriculum we have been teaching at our summer program since 1993. It is educationally relevant in many disciplines, as well as helping develop fine motor skils, critical and creative thinking, and hugely influences self-confidence in all ages.

Our Fall schedule is filling up fast. We are already booked in schools in AISD and Eanes ISD, but still have availability. Call now!

Summer Registration

Registration for the 2011 season of The Kent Cummins Magic Camp summer program will open in January.

The Kent Cummins Magic Camp is a fully inclusive day camp for children between the ages of 6 and 12 (we do make age exceptions on a case-by case basis), running from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Before and after care is available from 8:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. All of our regular sessions are two weeks long. After more than fifteen years of experience, we have observed that campers learn three to four times as much in a two-week session!

Contact Aaron Parker-Fasel at (512) 850-4677 if you have any questions about the Camp, or search our FAQ page

Introducing A New Preschool Program for Ages 3-5

This year we began a new preschool program called "The Magic Circus" designed for early childhood age children. It is a one week program from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and has age appropriate activities pertaining to Magic Camp skills, including magic, juggling, and puppetry.

It was such a smashing success this year, we plan to expand it in 2011. Call (512) 850-4677 for more information.

Support Magic Camp

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, The Kent Cummins Magic Camp welcomes community support. We participate in fundraising activities throughout the year which help us accept more kids to camp whose families otherwise might not afford it. We also partner with businesses who support the camp based on community involvement with their businesses. For example, 5% of the money you would already spend on Apple's iTunes store can go directly to the camp scholarship fund. Click here to see if any of these programs might fit into your daily habits, and help Magic Camp in its future success!
