Magic Camp 2013 Registration Open!

Magic Camp now accepts deposits! Think of this as an interest free payment plan. Although we can’t refund a deposit if a session is cancelled, it’s a terrific way to lock in your spot for the summer. We’ve had a higher than average rate of registrations this year and it’s clear that some of our sessions *will* sell out. So register today and put down a small $100 deposit to secure your spot.

Special After-Care Notice

We are excited to announce that we have worked out a special After-Care arrangement for parents of our campers who need to pick up kids later than 3:15 pm.  In our search for the best possible After-Care solution, we explored many options. Our number one choice was Extend-A-Care for Kids. We have had many dealings with them in the past and have been extremely impressed by their professionalism and their dedication to both the kids and the parents they serve. Therefore, we were very excited when they agreed to offer their After-Care services at our location in Highland Mall. The Extend-A-Care program will run from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, from June 3rd through August 23rd.

Important: Extend-A-Care needs 3 days to process your application. It is not possible to sign up for after care on the fly. Please register as soon as possible to avoid any issues.

Parents can go to the Extend-A-Care web site and click on the registration button to view all applications and programs. You will need to fill out “2013 HIGHLAND MALL APPLICATION” then choose which week you want. These are all noted by session.

Austin Chamber of Commerce 2012 Business Award WinnerA while back we announced that Magic Camp had been chosen as a finalist in the “Most Uniquely Austin” category of the Austin Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Business Awards…

The awards ceremony was held on August 30th, and we are pleased to announce that we won it! According to the Austin Chamber of Commerce, winning this award means that Magic Camp “… embraces the unique Austin culture and exemplifies what it means to live and do business in Austin.”

Donating to the Scholarship Fund

While the Magic Camp is not a “non-profit” organization, we have been fortunate enough to have many people donate to our Scholarship Fund. This has made it possible for hundreds of boys and girls to attend our camp, who might not have been able to otherwise. All of the donation are turned over to our Scholarship Committee, who has the arduous yet rewarding task of deciding who can benefit from the fund and to what degree.
